The Brook and The Bluff Jacksonville Concert reviews
Imagination not required!
Halsey, a very appealing artist, was the opening act and I had never heard of her before, but now I will be buying her music into the future. Metric, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Their music was unappealing with no feeling, just flat. The last song they played was not bad, but the performance was ruined by multiple songs before.
As an experienced concert goer, I must say that there is no prior performance in my opinion that would have exceeded the Imagine Dragons. I have seen some pretty good live acts such as The Ramones, Van Hagar, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Living Colour, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine. The visual performance of Imagine Dragons was amazing. Most songs sounded better live, for example, Friction, The Fall, Radioactive (I thought that it would be robotic but they pulled it off), Shots. By the end of the show, I felt like I was in a movie. I was stunned and still riding a concert high after 2 weeks. If the chance comes again, I will definitely see them again. They are the real deal, and anyone who states different has issues.
